Chapter 01 — AI Agents & Copilot
AI Agents & Microsoft Copilot
Most Copilot rollouts stall after the licenses are bought. Users try it twice, get a generic answer, and go back to email. We put AI where it earns its keep: inside a defined process, reading clean data, with guardrails your security team has signed off on.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Do we need to buy Copilot licenses before we talk to you?
No. We often recommend waiting until the first use case, data readiness, and security review are done. That way you license the people who will actually use it, not the whole company on day one.
What's the difference between Microsoft 365 Copilot and Copilot Studio?
Microsoft 365 Copilot works inside Outlook, Teams, Word, and other Office apps using the content a user can already access. Copilot Studio is for building your own agents that follow a defined process, connect to business systems, and take actions. Many organizations need both, for different jobs.
How do we keep an AI agent from exposing sensitive data?
Agents respect the permissions of the data sources they connect to, so we review those permissions first. We also define what each agent can read and do, set up logging, and agree on responsible-use rules with your security and compliance teams before go-live.
How long does a first AI agent take?
A focused first agent on one well-defined process usually takes weeks, not months. The biggest variable is data readiness. If the content the agent needs is scattered or out of date, we fix that first and tell you honestly how long it will take.
Our Copilot pilot gave poor answers. Is it worth another try?
Usually, yes. Poor answers almost always trace back to the data the agent can see or a process it was never told about. We find which one, fix it, and rerun the pilot on a narrower use case.
