Chapter 01 — Data & Integration

Data, Integration & Reporting

Bad data kills good systems, and it makes AI give confident wrong answers. We design the Dataverse model, build the integrations, and migrate what's worth keeping, so reports match reality and people trust what they see.

02 — Scope

What's in scope

  • Dataverse architecture and data modeling
  • Microsoft and third-party system integrations
  • Legacy CRM and spreadsheet data migration
  • Power BI reporting models and dashboards
  • Data quality assessment and remediation planning
  • Data ownership, governance, and lifecycle practices

Every engagement follows our order of operations: process, data, then automation and AI. See how we work

03 — Outcomes

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is Dataverse and do we need it?

Dataverse is the secure data platform behind Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. If you run Dynamics 365, you already use it. For Power Platform apps, it's the right choice when data needs structure, security, and relationships beyond a simple list.

How do you handle integrations that fail?

We design error handling from the start: logging, retries, and alerts to a named owner. An integration nobody monitors will eventually fail silently, so monitoring is part of the build, not an afterthought.

How risky is a data migration?

The risk comes from moving bad data or discovering problems late. We profile and clean data first, run multiple test loads, and have users validate before cutover, so surprises happen in testing.

Can you work with Azure and non-Microsoft systems?

Yes. We use Azure integration services, APIs, and standard connectors to connect Dynamics 365 and Power Platform with ERP, finance, marketing, and industry systems.

Why don't our Power BI reports match?

Usually because each report defines metrics differently or pulls from a different source. We build a shared data model with agreed definitions so reports stay consistent.
